BlueSnap Incident Notification - January 30, 2019 to - Transaction Processing Interruption - RESOLVED

In the recent 90 minutes we experienced an increase in transaction failures (both sales and refunds) caused by an technical issue with one on our acquiring banks. Our teams worked in collaboration with the bank's technical team and the issue seems to be resolved - however, we still continue to work with the acquirer to define the incident root-cause and define clear steps to prevent similar events from happening again.

This issue is now resolved.

  • The error description is: GENERAL_PAYMENT_PROCESSING_ERROR:"Transaction failed because of payment processing failure".
  • During the incident's time-frame We took some action in attempt to shift some transactions to alternative banks.
