Production: BuyNow Hosted Pages / Web Services (API) Processing Errors with Successful Captures - RESOLVED

We are seeing some cases of created invoices after successful captures, which triggered a failure notifications (Error) at the capture time. These transactions will be refunded.

This issue is now resolved.

Time-frame: September 3, 2019 PST - Still Ongoing.

Notes:

  • Following an earlier incident which impacted our IPNs today, we suspect that some capture attempts indicated failure while the capture was successful and an invoice was created.
  • The triggered error code is '1000', and the description is: 'Generic failure. Transaction could not be completed. Please try again later or contact BlueSnap support for assistance'.
  • We will refund these captured transactions within the next 24 hours, to prevent duplicated invoices and unwanted chargebacks.
  • This issue is now resolved and not additional captures with error should occur.
Production: Instant Payment Notifications (IPNs) BlueSnap Inceident Notification - September 3rd, 2019 - Delay in IPN delivery - ONGOING

During the day, we have experienced several cases of IPN delivery delays, which may have impacted your account.

Notes:

  • During a routine upgrade, a human error has caused a misconfiguration in the IPN server which lead to the delay.
  • Our IT team identified and resolved the issue and future precaution procedures were put in place to prevent similar events from happening again.
